Emily

So we have this new teacher at my school, actually a Professor. Her name is Emily and she's teaching Portrait class.

Emily: "I've had this thing lately where I've been collecting little tiny dolls and dinosours and animals, and I've been making all these cupcakes, where I put the figures on top of them, the people all bloody and being eaten by the dinosours and animals."

Emily: "I have a whole draw full of those little model cars."

Emily: "Me and my boyfriend where sitting on the sofa watching Tv one night and I was knitting, and then when I was bored with that I started popping the heads off of barbie dolls, cutting their hair off and stringing them onto yarn to make necklaces for my friends."

Emily: "My boyfriend used to watch a lot of wrestling, and there was this one off the beaten path character who used to walk around talking to a model head wig stand, you know, a foam head. It really creeped me out, so I have a weird relationship with them now."

Emily: "I'm always sitting around clipping pictures of peoples eyes, faces and heads and bodies or whatever out of magazines. Then I paste them all together to make this weird mess person and take its pictures doing different things."

"I collect tin foil"
"I collect fake flowers"
"...I collect a lot of things."

I look around the classroom, and no one has the look on their face that I do.

I think we've got a weird little Klepto on our hands. I like her.

So... I thought I had trouble staying on task, but I see that there's a club.
